Nationally this is being driven by Trading Standards who clarified in November 2023 what “material information” should be provided to potential viewers at the point of marketing a property, missing from Consumer Protection legislation for many years. Predicting this move, PSG Cornwall has been trialling an upfront property information report for the past year, with great feedback from those involved. Named YourHomeReport, this helps estate and letting agents to meet their obligations under these new material information requirements, but also provides significant upfront property information to streamline the house buying and rental process.
We are almost ready to launch this report, and feel it is now time to separate the two sides of our business. PSG Cornwall will continue to work with Cornish solicitors, delivering market-leading local, environmental, mining searches, due diligence support and much more, embracing the benefits of digital innovation.
